If you’re unfamiliar, ‘recharges’ == food. It’s our internal Feed The Geeks program, which makes sure you’re fed and hydrated even if you’re stuck behind a soundboard. $20/person or $30/couple feeds you for the duration of ‘con.

Some of you are poor graduate students, and some of you are flying cross-country or internationally just to work tech. A few of you might be between jobs as well. It happens. If the cost puts you in a bind, talk to Barrie or domesticat privately and you’ll be taken care of.

PLEASE pay in ahead of time if at all possible. Barrie makes a huge Sam’s/Costco run prior to ‘con. Doing so makes the money go a lot farther and means recharges can start up during load-in. Barrie and crew have some new and nifty ideas for this year on how to vary the menu a bit and add in more hot food; check the ‘2006 planning’ portion of the message board for details.
