Convention BINGO!!!

Basic rules plus we need ideas for the cards…

Basic rules are just like regular Bingo. One (non-playing) person will be the designated caller. The caller will be given a list of Con-sightings on the cards for that round, a radio and a digital camera. They will call out the Sightings as they see them wandering around the hotel. Photos will be snapped by the caller for later amusement of all. Each round will have a theme and all items on the cards will be related to those themes. Everyone playing will need a card issued to them for that round, a writing utensil and preferably a radio…or be relatively near a person with a radio. A master list of what has been called so far that round will be maintained in Harris.

Rounds will last 3 hours or until someone gets BINGO. NO rounds or game play will take place during major events (such as Masquerade, Dawn, et al). A schedule of rounds will be put together closer to ‘Con once we have a rough idea of personnel and schedule requirements.

What we need from you all now is ideas for themes and Con-sightings. Con-sightings will most likely be costumes but can also be typical (?!) things seen at the con. Any single thing that you’ve seen at Cons past that made a memorable impression on you is a good suggestion.

For Example:
Sunday Morning Round: Theme is “The Morning After.”
Items: Hung-Over Guest, Still-Drunk Guest, Con attendee passed out in lobby, puke (?) on the back stairs, Staffer with bloodshot eyes, EVIL Oompa, naked security staffer in pool

This is the first time we’ve ever attempted this. Please bear with us as this thing evolves (devolves?).

A writing utensil is not necessary if you just have little round stickers.

just trying to keep pointy things away from the staffers.

Must include Stormtroopers, Darth Vaders, Elves, Hobbits and Vampires.

How about women (or men for that matter) who SHOULD not be attempting to fit themselves into (insert costume of your choice).

I think that will fall into the "Spandex is a right, not a privledge" category! Probably suited for a late-night Friday round, lol.

And we thought we had a problem with radio chatter before? We might want to limit the game to daylight hours. A game during a concert. or masquerade, might be a problem.

One of the themes could be stars we love to HATE!!!

I mean…those people who get on our nerves at con with their whiney attitudes and demanding personalities.

We could take pics of them in their worst moments at the con.

Like when they first wake up…after a long session on stage or with fans….in the alley behind the hotel after tech staff relocats all their equipment…or my fav… after the random beating from bums in same alley after we tell them he has booze in his underwear.

But I digress.

My favorite costume is the "Nerd-In-A-Cape" and we need a foil/plastic cling costumes on there also!
