In Memoriam: Phil "Grape Bitch/Ink Pad" Searfoss
You could put somebody’s eye out with that thing!

Paint the Moon (http://www.paintthemoon.org/) is a new art project to, well, paint the moon red. No, it’s not some wacky Chairface Chippendale plot from The Tick.

The goal is for everybody to point their laser pointer at the same spot on the moon at the exact same time. The result should be (they say) a soft red glow on the moon’s surface.

There are, of course, some evildoers who think this can’t be done. These naysayers, often called “scientists,” try using their so-called “calculations” to say this experiment will fail.

All I want to know … what happens to the poor folks on the International Space Station who happen to be looking out the window at that exact moment?

I thought Oompa was a plot by Chairface Chippendale.
