When will the gaggle of geeks gather?

As a first order of business, I think our new site should be used to promote another TechOps gathering at the Richardson farm (a.k.a. The House of a Thousand Animals).

Suzanne and I want to re-roof the barn sometime in July. This is the same barn TechOps helped remodel … of course by “remodel” I mean “removed 144 square feet using crowbars and saws”.
As with any Richardson remodeling/removal/replacement project, this serves as a perfect excuse for several people to gather at the farm. Gathering involves drinking, eating and making fun of movies we watch in the den. I am also tempted to give a MST3K treatment to “The Phantom Edit” at this gathering.
All that remains is scheduling. July 14th is the next DC staff meeting, so that’s a good gathering weekend, but bad for the weekend roofing project (we can gather w/o the need for barn realignment). Suzanne and I may be out of town on July 21st (actually, we may be in Huntsville … more on that later).
Please send suggestions for scheduling the reconstruction weekend.

We don’t have 1000 animals….yet.

Looks like the first or last weekend in July is looking best. My personal vote is for the first weekend as it will be cooler then. Input?
